A three layer structure using yellow and red clear parts have been used to create the Hinokami Kagura effect. The colors for the haori, uniform, and hair have been reproduced in a redness that resembles the reflection from the flame. Layered injection molding technology is used to create the expressive and lively expression. Tanjiro's pupils have been recreated in great detail by layering multiple colors. Multiple colors comprise the eyebrows and scar pattern on the face and have been molded as a single part.
